Comics, Books, & Zines, 2019 - 2022
“Deeter'' is a digitally illustrated multi-ending comic about a 13 year old girl who is struggling with her spiritual identity in a religiously divided family. The morning of Deeter’s communion, her godmother introduces her to tarot knowing that Deeter's dad, the church pastor, does not approve of this practice. The fate of Deeter’s future is in the reader's hands!
"Misbelief" is a digitally illustrated motion comic about something I believed in when I was younger, that ended up being untrue. I thought the past was in black and white because of old photos, but I also thought that every marriage was as perfect as everyone said it was. It's okay for both adults and kids to be wrong.
Little Accomplishments, 2021
Finding inspiration while being unwell during the Pandemic was exhausting. I had to find comfort in little accomplishments to feel like myself again. I made this digitally illustrated comic to remind myself that improvements, no matter how big or small, are still improvements at the end of the day.
