Blitzar Park is an animated television series about the emotional destruction of a dysfunctional home. Mariah Plakas is the creator, artist, and writer of the show. With the help of her television animation award-winning mentor, Cheyenne Curtis, and the knowledgeable professors of SVA’s MFA Visual Narrative Program, the fun of Blitzar Park has just begun!

The silent teaser trailer below played at the SVA Gramercy Gallery in Manhattan, NY for two weeks.

The pilot aired on July 21st, 2023 during the MFA Visual Narrative Thesis show closing reception, titled "We Made This," alongside Rose Vincelli Gustine's documentary, "What We Discover Along the Way. " A Q&A was followed by the showings. The film screening was held in a theater with 66 seats and every single one of them was occupied (there were people standing in the back watching the films)!
